Gilmour Space Technologies was founded in Singapore in 2012 to design and build spacecraft replicas and simulators for our sister company, Gilmour Space Corporation, which owns and operates Australia's first Spaceflight Academy located in the Gold Coast.

We also produced static and full-motion simulators for other customers, including a regional museum and education facility in Australia.

Our signature simulators - recently awarded the Singapore Good Design Mark 2017 - embed mechatronics on 3- to 6-degree motion-platforms.

OTHER SPACE TECHNOLOGIES

MARS HABITAT TEST LAB & WATER ROVER

In 2017, our Mars Aqua Retrieval System (MARS Water Rover) which we developed with SUTD students, won an international capstone award, and was featured in National Geographic's Mars exhibition in Singapore.

This rover will be tested as part of a NASA Space Act Agreement, announced in Feb 2018.

Other exciting past projects include developing a full-scale 8-person Mars Habitat to facilitate tests of closed-loop life support technology and 3D-printed spare parts; and a Suborbital Space Plane designed for our sister company Gilmour Space Corporation.
